(25 Aug 2010) A new British Lions CD has been issued by Angel Air in the UK, this time capturing the band's live set at the Old Waldorf in San Fancisco in 1978. The three bonus tracks are studio demos of three British Lions songs. It is available at all fine retailers, as well as from the Angel Air website.
(2006) The Winter 2006 issue of Two Miles From Heaven contains part two of Overend's account of his trek along the 630-mile Southwest Coast Path in 2003. Recounted with both humor and brutal self-assessment, this exerpt of his journal covers the first week of his walk. The entire account of his successful hike along the longest National Trail is rumored to be almost ready for publication as a book.
(2005) Overend Watts has recorded a solo track called 'She's Real Gone', which appears on the Angel Air 2xCD release Family Anthology. The albums also includes several unreleased Mott The Hoople demos, new tracks by Dale Griffin and Verden Allen, a demo of Silence backing vocalist Jon Best, a track by The Buddies featuring Mick Ralphs, a new version of 'Roll Away The Stone' by The Ariel Bender Band.
(2004) The September 2004 issue of Two Miles From Heaven contains an article called Overland With Overend, in which Overend Watts recounts his experience tackling the Southwest Coast Path, a 630-mile hike along the coast from Minehead to Poole. In it he talks about his inspiration and preparations for 'The Big Walk', with Part Two of the story promised in a later issue. (1999) Overend Watts has contributed a previously-unreleased solo track called 'Carribean Hate Song' to a two-CD compilation album called Friends and Relatives, which was issued by Eagle Records in 1999. The rest of the album is comprised of tracks culled from various Angel Air releases related to Mott The Hoople.
